Seeds dropped from helicopters to revive scorched mountain
Gardeners plan to revive the side of a Welsh mountain that was scorched to bare earth by wildfires by dropping thousands of seeds from helicopters.
The fire on Llantysilio, above Llangollen, Denbighshire, lasted from mid-July to September 2018 and left the ground so bare and unstable that it is not safe to try and sow seeds on foot among its steep slopes. Read More
